Concier is in beta. The website is live at concier.app. The iOS app is in build. The waitlist is open. People keep asking the same question: when does the city I live in or travel to actually go live.
How a city goes live
A city goes live when three things are true at the same time.
1. A hotel is ready to partner
Concier does not ship a closet to a hotel that has not signed on. We need a back-of-house path for the inventory and a check-in flow that is aware of which rooms have a Concier closet on a given night. We are in warm conversations on the partner side in a small handful of US cities. We are not naming names until something is signed. The opposite of a press release.
2. A wardrobe is sized for that city
A city closet is not a generic rack with twenty looks on it. It is a curated set that reads the city. Paris is not Miami is not Park City. We work backward from "what does a real five-day trip to this place look like, what is the weather window, what is the dress register at dinner." Then we source the past-season inventory that fits that brief, and we test sizing.
3. The waitlist for the city is deep enough
Concier is a marketplace on the demand side. We need a critical mass of waitlisted guests in a destination for the closet to make economic sense in that destination. We open a city when the demand-side numbers stop looking marginal and start looking sustained.
Why the waitlist is not vanity
The waitlist is a map. Every signup tells us which destinations our future guests want to travel to and from. When we look at the back end, the cities where the dots are clumping tell us where to put the next two phone calls on the partner side.
There is no countdown to a launch date because there is no single launch date. There are cities. They go live one at a time. The early list gets first access to each one.
Frequently asked questions
When will my city open?
Not a date, a function. When a hotel partner is ready, a wardrobe is sized for the city, and the waitlist for the city is deep enough to run rooms, that city opens. US cities first.
What do I get for joining the waitlist?
First access to your city when it goes live, a fit profile we will source against, and a short signal we read on the back end about where to put the next partner conversation.
Can I tell you which city I want?
Yes. The replies to the signup email come to a real address that a real person reads. The replies have changed the order of cities more than once.
